Mechanical Designer – Architecture & Engineering

Full‑time, direct hire role located in Albany, NY. Hybrid schedule with 2 days of WFH after probation. Candidates proficient in Revit and experienced in mechanical design for construction, architecture, or engineering firms are sought.

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree.
• 4+ years of mechanical engineering experience in construction, architecture, or engineering company.
• Proficient in Revit and other engineering design tools.
• Strong knowledge of heating, cooling, heat rejection, air distribution, ventilation, AC, building automation and controls.
• Understanding of mechanical design, physics, micro‑fabrication, CAD and data analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to present complex technical information clearly.
• Committed to continuous learning and professional development.
• PE certification desirable but not required.

• Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Assist in spatial coordination with architecture and other engineering systems.
• Process contractor submittals and perform on‑site condition surveys.
• Collaborate across disciplines to produce integrated project documents and ensure integrated design approaches and solutions.
