Location: City of Albany
The Medicaid Redesign Analyst 1 / Trainee will function as a financial analyst in the Bureau of Global Cap and Supplemental Programs, supporting the tracking, analysis, and forecasting of Medicaid spending. The incumbent will prepare recurring Global Cap reports, closeout materials, and cash and actual expenditure reconciliations while collaborating with fiscal, program, and rate-setting staff across the Department and other agencies.
Keyqualifications
- Four to six years of experience in public health insurance program administration (depending on trainee level) with involvement in policy development, program implementation, or health plan contract o
- Strong analytical, organizational, and independent problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work accurately with detailed financial information and demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, or data quality review
