The Financial Advisor will work on-site in Latham, NY in a full-time capacity, helping clients develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to assess their goals, analyzing current financial situations, and recommending solutions across insurance, investment, retirement, and advisory products. The role involves preparing personalized financial plans, monitoring portfolio performance, and adjusting strategies as client needs or market conditions change.
The Financial Advisor will also build and maintain long-term client relationships, conduct ongoing reviews, and stay current with financial regulations, product offerings, and industry trends. Additional activities include collaborating with internal teams, participating in training and development programs, and engaging in business development through networking and community involvement.
- Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning and Financial Advisory skills, with the ability to develop comprehensive, client-centered strategies.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance and Investments knowledge, including familiarity with various asset classes, risk management, and portfolio construction.
- Candidates should possess Retirement Planning expertise, including retirement income strategies, tax considerations, and long-term savings solutions.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to explain complex concepts clearly and build trust with diverse clients.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client engagements.
- Relevant licenses (such as state insurance license, FINRA registrations, or investment advisory credentials) or the willingness and ability to obtain them within specified time frames.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in financial services or advisory roles is also valued.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct, regulatory compliance, and ongoing professional development in the financial services industry.
