Manager, Financial Reporting

Our client is a bank. They seek a Manager of Financial Reporting to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities Coordinate the preparation and filing of SEC reporting documents, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and quarterly earnings releases

Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP requirements

Develop and maintain reporting schedules, financial statement tie-outs, and documentation supporting public disclosures

Draft management discussion and analysis (MD&A) by analyzing financial trends, business drivers, and reporting period results

Monitor SEC regulations, accounting standards, and new guidance, including ASC 326, to ensure compliance with reporting requirements

Research accounting pronouncements and assess disclosure impacts for new transactions and business initiatives

Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Investor Relations, auditors, and senior leadership to ensure accurate and timely reporting

Support external audit and quarterly review processes by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests

Maintain SOX controls over financial reporting processes and support compliance with internal control requirements

Enhance reporting processes and improve financial reporting workflows, disclosures, and investor-related materials

Requirements4+ years of experience

Public company experienceSEC experience required
