Weekend Evening;
Day/Evening Shift. Salary Range: $65,102.17 - $ (salary commensurate with experience). This is a 52-weekend position.

• Perform technical MRI procedures and assist in clinical evaluation and care of patients in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center.
• Utilize modality to create diagnostic images and provide a safe, positive patient experience.
• Maintain competent imaging skills; support teaching and learning; rotate through Main Department and satellite areas; on-call responsibility if applicable.
• Enter patient data into computer systems; QA images and patient information for accuracy prior to sending to PACS.
• Assist Physicians in all aspects of procedures; obtain peripheral IV access and inject contrast material where required.
• Maintain stock, linen, and light housekeeping; adhere to Hospital/department policy as well as New York state and accrediting agency standards; support accreditation efforts.
• Mentor and precept staff and students; pursue knowledge validation; complete required education; uphold Joint Commission standards.
• Establish professional relationships with health care team, patients, and families; demonstrate problem-solving skills.

• MRI Technologist with ability to provide patient care appropriate to age and special characteristics; maintain imaging skills in practicing modality.
• On-call availability, if applicable.
• Ability to obtain peripheral IV access and inject contrast material as required.
