The Cardiac Monitor Tech at St Peter's Hospital will work in our Heart Central. They will perform a variety of duties involving the monitoring of patients' cardiac statuses and maintaining cardiac monitoring equipment. They are responsible for identifying and interpreting rhythm patterns, documenting, recording and reporting abnormal vital signs to the RN. Good communication skills are needed to maintain open lines of communication with Nursing units throughout the hospital.

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of Telemetry Training
• Current BLS certification
• Patient care experience

• Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift
• Schedule:
  
  Full time; 7:00 am – 7:30 pm; rotating weekdays, weekends and holidays; NO SET SCHEDULES

Pay range: $18.50 - $22.80 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the FLSA will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
