The Patient Registrar is responsible for the day‑to‑day process of handling new and existing patients, including checking patients in and out, verifying demographics and insurance information, collecting co‑pays, answering phones, and scheduling appointments. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with the patient population are essential. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, communicates clearly, gets along well with others, and can multitask.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Prior medical office experience is preferred
- Experience with medical software and terminology is a plus
