Job Description:

Join Albany Medical Center as a Surgical Tech I on a temporary travel assignment designed for experienced professionals passionate about delivering top-tier surgical support. This role involves assisting in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries, requiring strong technical skills and clinical expertise. The schedule runs from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, offering a 12-hour shift suitable for candidates who thrive in dynamic surgical environments.

There might be a potential on-call requirement to support emergencies and ensure seamless patient care.
Candidates should be flexible to float to different units within the hospital as needed, with the opportunity to gain diverse experience within a reputable healthcare setting.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries.

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from NBSTSA.

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and handle on-call duties if necessary.

• Valid licensure and certification, with eligibility to work in the designated state.
Preferred

Education & Experience:

• At least 2 years of perioperative surgical technician experience in a hospital setting.

• Prior experience working in a surgical environment with complex procedures.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

• Ability to maintain high standards of sterility and patient safety.
Additional Details:

• Willing to review clinicians with pending state licenses.

07::30 shifts, totaling 12 hours per day.

• Payout:
Weekly taxable pay of $1,760, with a weekly stipend of $1,049.64.
