Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of recent experience and active NYS licensure for a travel opportunity in diagnostic imaging.

• Position is based in the Radiology department within a hospital setting
• Typical shift is 07:00 AM to 5:30 PM with no blocked scheduling allowed
• Patient assignments will be within the Radiology Tech unit
• EPIC EMR experience is mandatory for consideration
• Assignments are 13 weeks in duration
• Competency testing may be required for ICU and MS applicants, with two attempts to pass
• Candidates may not live within Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties (50-mile radius rule applies)
• Request for time off (RTO) must be submitted with application
• More than 3 call outs in a 13-week period will result in contract termination; make up shifts are required and must be completed within 6 weeks
• Travel pairs are not allowed and applicants may only submit to one position

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Radiology Technologist
• Active NYS license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Current AHA or RQI certifications must be provided
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required for consideration (Canadian SIN not accepted)
• Medical documentation for flu exemption must be signed by a licensed professional; personal/religious exemptions not accepted
