Responsibilities
  • Train and inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, appropriate guest amenities, and the working conditions of all guest rooms. Ensures that cleanliness and quality standards are met.
  • Check status of all guest rooms to include guest requests, out of order rooms and rooms to be cleaned each day.
  • Assess inventory and assign rooms for cleaning.
  • Verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms.
  • Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of guest rooms. Communicate and coordinate with Engineering to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of items related to guest rooms.
  • Perform Housekeeper duties, as needed.
  • Assist department manager in maintaining close control and inventory of linen and supplies.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the lost and found program.
  • Issue proper keys to authorized personnel. Maintains key control.
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by your manager.
Qualifications
  • High school education or equivalent experience, with one to two years of employment related experience.
  • Working knowledge of housekeeping is expected.
  • Supervisory skills are required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, management and guests.
  • Ability to operate a two-way radio, cleaning and general office equipment, including a computer.
  • Continuous movement and standing, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push or pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that will include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Compensation

Salary: $17 - $17.50 per hour
