Senior Data Analyst – New York State Unified Court System
Join the New York State Unified Court System as a Senior Data Analyst. We are recruiting for one (1) position for the Court Research Data Team within the Office of Court Administration, Division of Technology and Court Research.
Key Responsibilities- Define project scope and make strategic decisions on data architecture and implementation.
- Design logical and physical data models to support efficient querying and reporting.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.
- Transform and wrangle large datasets to support operational and analytical needs.
- Create meaningful reports and dashboards using SSRS and other tools.
- Document technical processes, data structures, and reporting logic clearly and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and usability.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and optimize data workflows.
- Experience designing data structures that support efficient reporting and analysis.
- Experience with SSRS or similar reporting platforms.
- Strong technical writing skills for documentation and communication.
- Background in data governance, public policy, or government.
One year in the Management Analyst title; or Master’s degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Background in data governance, public policy, or government is preferred.
Salary$110,853.
TelecommutingThis position has potential to be eligible for one day of telecommuting per week.
