Selected candidates are expected to work in Albany office 2-3 days per week
Day-to-day Tasks- Develop custom SharePoint applications
- Assist with the migration of SharePoint application to the O365 Platform
- Perform system testing and development of testing plans, presentation of training, and planning /execution of enterprise Microsoft SharePoint applications.
- Implement and document SharePoint designs and configurations.
- Technical troubleshooting on complex issues that span enterprise systems and multiple data sources requiring rapid resolution.
- Developing and maintaining Microsoft SQL database instances.
- Analysis of business requirements in support of SharePoint Sites design and suggest improvements.
- Develop and maintain API's that include SharePoint and Oracle APEX.
- Crosstrain and mentor State staff in Microsoft SharePoint design and support.
- On-call support of production applications is required
Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.
Expert- 84+ months:
Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. - 84 months experience developing applications and supporting Microsoft SharePoint including versions 2010, 2013, 2016/O365.
- 84 months experience developing and configuring new Microsoft SharePoint workflows.
- 84 months experience using Microsoft SharePoint designer.
- 84 months supporting and developing Microsoft SharePoint lists and forms.
- 60 months experience with Web programming technologies in support of custom Microsoft SharePoint site design (i.e. HTML, CSS, Java scripting)
- 84 months experience in migrating and upgrading Microsoft SharePoint instances.
- 60 months experience supporting and developing Microsoft Access applications and database instances.
- 60 months experience developing in and supporting Microsoft SQL server database instances.
- 60 months experience mentoring and cross training other staff members
