Software Architect - Service Now Architect and Developer

• Develop and implement Service Now delivered applications and custom applications throughout all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Perform Service Now coding, testing, installation, and documentation of the system’s functions and provide technical support for Service Now application modules and custom applications.
• Guide the discussions of the definition, design, and construction of processes/structures to support project requirements for the Service Now platform.
• Guide team members on a variety of Service Now projects, including determination of time frames for assigned tasks, completing assigned tasks, assisting in unit and system testing and post‑implementation support of the system.
• Assist in the analysis of user requirements such as information gathering, participating in requirements interviews, documenting existing systems and processes, documenting requirements, and developing detailed specifications in the form of Agile User Stories.
• Ensure that system development and support projects adhere to Service Now and NYSTRS application development standards and procedures.

• Experience (15+ Years)
• Makes high‑level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi‑leveled architecture or component interactions of a large‑scale software system.

• This is an 100% Onsite position.
• 84 months of experience in developing, implementing, and delivering applications in the Service Now platform.
• 36 months of experience creating and developing custom applications within Service Now using App Engine Studio, UI Builder, Form Builder, and/or the Service Now Studio IDE.
• 84 months of experience leading the technical design and implementation of Service Now projects, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• 48 months of experience in gathering user requirements by conducting information gathering sessions, facilitating requirements interviews and workshops, documenting existing systems and processes, and documenting future state requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Service Now Certified Application Developer certification.
• Copy of Candidate Identification (e.g., Driver’s License/Green Card/Visa and Passport if applicable).
• Any documents referenced in the above requested qualifications (e.g., professional certifications, degrees, etc.).
