Position Requirements /Technical
Skills:
The Public Health MU Onboarding Project enhances public health exchanges to promote the Meaningful Use (MU) of Certified EHR Technologies. This position provides technical and onboarding support to increase public health surveillance activities, improving data reporting to Public Health Registries.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing hands-on technical customer support
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware and software issues
- Identifying root causes of errors and delays
- Preparing documentation for technical and non-technical end-users
- Communicating effectively with end-users and technical staff
Daily Tasks:
- Interface with onboarding Meaningful Use reporting clients and vendors
- Facilitate data transport and exchange activities
- Provide step-by-step instructions for solution of end-user issues
- Review system, application, and network access logs
- Document interactions with clients for service delivery evaluation
Requirements:
- Mid-Level experience
- Desirable qualifications include:
- 48 months experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- 48 months providing end-user support with software applications
- 48 months experience communicating with users and stakeholders
- 48 months experience preparing technical documents
- 36 months experience interpreting system-level logs
- 36 months experience with Windows and Linux administrative tasks
- 36 months experience maintaining quality controls and procedures
- 36 months experience developing and maintaining technical documentation
- Bachelor’s degree or greater in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or public health
