Cloud and Things seeks a Senior Reporting Analyst to support our client in reviewing quarterly reports, analyzing data, identifying trends, and ensuring accurate documentation to support leadership in making informed business decisions. The role requires strong skills in Excel, dashboard creation, and professional reporting, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication.
OverviewWe are looking for a professional who will play a key role in providing analytical insight and reporting solutions for our client. This position is exempt; salary commensurate with experience.
Duties Client Engagement & Business Analysis- Meet with clients and business stakeholders to gather, define, and validate reporting requirements.
- Translate business objectives into actionable reporting solutions and BI deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards across the organization.
- Prepare and present reporting solutions, dashboards, and insights in client‑facing meetings.
- Draft documentation, written reports, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to design and build scalable data models within Databricks SQL.
- Create optimized external tables for serving data from the Gold layer to BI tools.
- Develop, test, and maintain analytical datasets for enterprise reporting and self‑service BI.
- Design and build interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations tailored to client needs.
- Implement row‑level and column‑level security (RLS/CLS) in Power BI to ensure data governance.
- Enable and support business users with self‑service data extracts and reporting capabilities.
- Automate scheduling, publishing, and monitoring of Power BI reports and dataflows.
- Optimize dataset and report performance through proper data modeling and query design.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams (Operations, Account Management, Finance, IT) to deliver reporting solutions.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support decision‑making.
- Perform peer reviews and knowledge sharing to ensure quality and consistency across reports.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance BI processes, tools, and data quality.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, or related field).
- 5+ years of experience in reporting, BI development, or business analysis.
- Healthcare industry experience is required.
- Familiarity with healthcare reporting, compliance, and data structures is a must‑have.
- Demonstrated success delivering client‑facing reports and dashboards.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working with large datasets and financial/business data.
- Excellent written communication, documentation, and client presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative problem‑solving skills and results orientation.
