Location: City of Albany
The Information Technology Specialist 2 provides technology support and services to State Police assets within an assigned Troop, reporting to the Technical Sergeant Communications. The role encompasses application support for systems like Microsoft Office and TraCS, vehicle platform support including tablets and CAD systems, network troubleshooting, and oversight of new technology implementation and testing.
Key qualifications- Bachelor's degree with 15 semester credit hours in computer science, OR bachelor's degree and one year of professional IT experience
- Completion of 60 semester credit hours including 15 in computer science plus one year of IT experience
- Two years of professional experience in information technology
- Relevant IT certifications preferred
