Business Intelligence Analyst

If shipping reliable software at scale excites you, our Business Intelligence Analyst opening in Albany, NY is worth a serious look. What sets the offer apart is trust — $54,000 - $82,000 and part-time hours are nice, but the technology ownership is the headline.

• Ship Databricks experiments fast, kill the losers, and double down on what sticks
• Tune database queries and schemas for high-throughput Investment Advisory Group workloads
• Catch the purpose-soaked Vector Databases regression in staging before it ever reaches Albany customers
• Chase down the Vector Databases integration that silently drops Investment Advisory Group events at midnight
• Lead the Networking migration that finally retires Investment Advisory Group's autonomy-driven legacy stack
• Reproduce the mentorship-focused bug from the Albany field report, then make it impossible again
• Translate a napkin idea from Investment Advisory Group founders into an ETL Pipelines data-honest prototype

• Comfort interpreting data and translating findings into clear recommendations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Junior-caliber judgment about when to escalation and when to absorb
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal oversight
• A bias toward asking the dumb question before the expensive mistake

Investment Advisory Group began as a side project in Albany and grew into the playfully-serious platform thousands of technology users now rely on. Every voice in the NY office gets airtime, especially the ones still finding their volume.

Expect $54,000 - $82,000, yes, but also expect the kind of benefits and remote flexibility that make Mondays in Albany feel lighter.

No cobwebs here: this technology listing was confirmed open this morning.
