Job Overview: Our client, Zettalogix INC, is seeking an Expert Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of a new Computerized Criminal History Database that meets current stakeholder needs and is properly resourced for future demands.

• Lead cross-functional IT projects of significant scope and impact.
• Provide guidance to large teams and act as a senior industry leader.
• Manage 3–5 simultaneous application development projects, including Commercial Off‑The‑Shelf (COTS) and in‑house projects.
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules, scope documents, status reports, and communication plans throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain formal project schedules using a project tracking tool (e.g., Microsoft Project).
• Prepare detailed project scope documents.
• Plan and oversee project quality including QA, end‑to‑end system testing, quality control, UAT, defect and metrics management, and quality governance.
• Lead multi‑phased, high‑visibility projects reporting to high‑level government stakeholders.
• Run project management meetings to discuss deliverables and status.
• Work closely with business functional areas, executive teams, ITS leadership, vendors, and technical teams to develop and manage project scope and other PM plans.
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance on project tasks to team members.
• Develop formal project plans specifying goals, strategy, dependencies, scheduling, risk identification, contingency plans, and resource allocation.
• Follow PMO standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
• Identify, schedule, and manage deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities, driving accountability.
• Coordinate complex business requirement deliveries, business process reengineering, and organizational change activities.

• Expert guidance to large teams and industry leadership.
• 84+ months of experience managing 3–5 simultaneous application development projects (COTS/in‑house).
• 84+ months of experience creating/managing project budgets, schedules, scope documents, status reports, communication plans.
• 84+ months of experience developing and managing formal project schedules using a tool such as Microsoft Project.
• 84+ months of experience creating detailed project scope documents.
• 84+ months of experience in project quality planning including QA, system testing, quality control, UAT defect & metrics management, quality governance.
• 84+ months of experience managing and leading multi‑phased, high‑visibility projects reporting to high‑level government stakeholders.
• 84+ months of experience running Project Management Meetings.
