Spice Operator – Immediately Hiring!!

Starting Rate: $20 per hour

HOURS:

Mon.

- Fri. weekly with weekends off. Day Shifts are flexible with mandatory overtime as the daily schedule requires.

Bilinski’s Sausage Mfg. Co. is seeking an experienced food manufacturing employee for our spice weighing and blending operations in Cohoes, NY.

• Weighing out spices according to recipes in a timely manner to support daily operations of the kitchen
• Maintaining spices on a FIFO basis
• Completing necessary batch paperwork with accuracy for each batch
• Maintain proper identification on all ingredients
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly spice room environment following company policies
• Conduct a weekly rotating spice inventory by Friday of each week

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently
• Must have the ability to read, write, and perform simple math calculations to accurately measure correct amounts of ingredients
• Basic computer skills; job requires operating a computer and a tablet computer
• Great attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• The ability to follow safety standards in an industrial kitchen
