Location: City of Albany
The Public Information Specialist 1 (Digital Content) will serve as the Digital Operations Coordinator for the NYS Digital and Media Services Center at the Office of General Services. This role coordinates digital and creative projects from concept to delivery, managing communications across teams while ensuring projects stay on schedule and improve customer experience. Key responsibilities include creating website content, responding to high-priority digital requests, coordinating project activities, preparing presentations, and monitoring analytics to shape content strategy.
Keyqualifications
- Six years of experience in public relations, social media, and digital communications (or equivalent education substitution)
- Experience with content management systems for website authoring and editing
- Experience coordinating and tracking multiple projects
- Proven ability to write for diverse audiences using plain language standards
- Knowledge of Google website analytics
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications and social media platforms
