Development and Events Manager

JFS provides counseling, promotes independence, aging well, and access to basic needs, mitigates foodand housing insecurity and social isolation. Our mission is amplified by volunteers and sustained by donors to ensure support for our community is within reach.

We seek a Development & Events Manager to join our compassionate, collaborative team to lead fundraising and other events, donor engagement, and development operations.

Location: Albany, NY

Reports to: President & CEO

Salary: $68,640–$79,040 per year

• Plan and execute fundraising events, including budgeting, timelines, sponsor ships, and logistics
• Develop sponsorship packages and manage sponsor relationships
• Support annual campaigns and appeals
• Maintain donor records andmanage donor stewardship
• Track fundraising performance andpreparereports
• Draft donor communications and event materialsincoordinationwith team
• Coordinate vendors and volunteers for events
• Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effective execution
• Represent JFS in community asappropriateand coordinated

• 3–5 years of experience in nonprofit development or event management
• Proven success with fundraising events and sponsor ships
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Proficiency with donor databases and Microsoft Office
• Experience with email marketing and event registration tools preferred

Full-time,approximately
37.5hoursper week, with occasional evenings and weekends for events. Hybrid work flexibility with in-person event support required.
