Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU night position requiring an active NY RN license and Epic experience.

• Work in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) with responsibilities in the Critical Care Float Pool
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week contract assignment
• EPIC EMR is used and experience with EPIC is required
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• Competency testing is required for all ICU nurses, with two attempts allowed to pass
• Applicants may not reside in the following counties:
  Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
• More than three call outs during the 13-week contract may lead to contract termination, with required make-up shifts within six weeks
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the application
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this position

• Active New York RN license required at the time of application
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in CVICU or the submitted specialty
• BLS and any required certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• Experience with Epic EMR is required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
• Medical exemptions for flu vaccination must be signed by a licensed professional; no personal or religious exemptions accepted
