Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU night shift position requiring a NY license and Epic EMR proficiency.

• Work in the Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (ICU/SICU) in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes neuro and surgical critical care cases
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Epic EMR system is used and prior experience is required
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• Competency testing is required for all ICU unit staff and must be passed within two attempts
• Candidates are not allowed to work if residing in certain nearby counties or within a 50-mile radius
• Exceeding three call outs during the 13-week contract may result in termination, with required make-up shifts to be completed within six weeks
• Requested time off must be specified during the submission process
• Travel pairs are not allowed and candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or SICU nursing experience required
• Current AHA or RQI certifications must be provided
• Epic EMR experience is required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Only U.S. Social Security Numbers accepted
• Flu vaccine required with medical exemptions accepted if signed by a licensed professional
