Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU days position requiring a NY RN license and Epic EMR experience.

• Work in the Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (ICU/SICU) setting
• Days shift from 07:00 to 19:00
• Direct care of critically ill neuro and surgical patients
• Must use Epic EMR; prior Epic experience required
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• Competency testing must be completed for ICU units with up to 2 attempts to pass
• Medical documentation of flu vaccination required; only medical exemptions signed by a provider are accepted
• More than three call-outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination and make-up shifts are mandated
• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of consideration
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
• Local candidates are not accepted if residing in specified counties within a 50-mile radius
• Travelers may only be considered for one position at a time

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in neuro or surgical ICU
• BLS and any required certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• Recent Epic EMR experience is required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required (Canadian SIN not accepted)
