Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU day shift position in New York, requiring an active NY RN license and recent EPIC EMR experience.

• Work in a Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU/SICU)
• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• EPIC EMR is used and prior experience is required
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• Competency testing for ICU is required with up to two attempts to pass
• No local candidates allowed residing within the defined counties and 50-mile radius
• More than three call outs during the 13-week assignment may result in contract termination and makeup shifts must be completed within six weeks
• Time off (RTO) must be requested at the time of application
• Travel pairs are not permitted for this assignment

• Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Neuroscience or Surgical ICU specialties
• Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• EPIC EMR experience is mandatory
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number is required;
  Canadian SIN not accepted
• Medical exemption for flu vaccine must be signed by a licensed professional
