American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Neuro-Progressive Care night shift position requiring Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU experience and EPIC proficiency.

• Neuro-Progressive Care unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage
• 5-bed Med-Surg rotation required for all staff
• Uses EPIC EMR

• Active NY RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required
• 2 years of recent experience in Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• Minimum one reference from a supervisor or manager within the past year (charge nurse references not accepted)

• NAVE BLUE scrubs required
• Flu vaccination required, with only medical exemptions accepted (no personal or religious declinations)
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• More than 3 call-outs within the 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks
• RTO must be requested at the time of submission
• Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
