American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Neuro Progressive Care night shift position requiring 2 years of recent specialty experience and Epic EMR proficiency.
Requirements- Active NYS RN license required at time of consideration
- AHA or RQI certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Neuro Progressive Care
- Epic EMR experience required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number required
- Minimum 1 professional reference from a supervisor or manager (not a charge nurse) within the past year
- Neuro Progressive Care unit in a hospital setting
- 13-week assignment on night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Competency testing required for this unit with 2 attempts allowed to pass
- Flu vaccination required with only medical exemptions accepted (no personal or religious declinations)
- No blocked scheduling permitted
- More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with required make-up shifts completed within 6 weeks
- RTO must be requested at the time of consideration
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility are not eligible, specifically those residing in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington Counties
