American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU position requiring prior travel assignment experience and Trauma Level One ICU background.

• Work in the Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care unit
• Trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patient population at a Trauma Level One facility
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment with every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• 48 hours per week may be accepted if interested
• May be required to float to other units

• Active NY RN license required
• AHA or RQI certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU settings required
• Previous travel nursing assignment experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Competency test required within 24 hours of consideration, administered via email
• Minimum 1 reference required from a supervisor or manager (no charge nurse references accepted), dated within the past year
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN required (Canadian SIN not accepted)
• Medical exemption required for flu vaccine declination (personal or religious exemptions not accepted)

• Provide critical care nursing to surgical and neurological ICU patients
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Local candidates are not accepted from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties within a 50-mile radius
• RTO must be requested at the time of consideration
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• More than 3 call-outs within the 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks
