American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Critical Care Float Pool night shift position requiring Epic EMR experience and prior travel assignment history.

• Critical Care Float Pool unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule
• Float across multiple ICU environments including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and progressive critical care unit (PCCU)
• Also cares for ICU/PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active NYS RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent critical care experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing assignment experience required
• Level I trauma center experience preferred
• Experience floating to a variety of ICUs highly desired
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must pass a competency test within 24 hours of consideration
• Navy blue scrubs required

• Care for critically ill patients across a variety of ICU specialties as part of a float pool team
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius, excluding Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties
• RTO must be requested at time of consideration
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks
• No blocked scheduling permitted
