American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU night shift position requiring 2 years of Trauma Level One ICU experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

• Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care unit in a Level One Trauma hospital setting
• Cares for trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
• 13-week assignment on night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required with rotating holiday coverage
• 48 hours per week may be accepted for interested candidates
• Uses Epic EMR system

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required
• 2 years of recent ICU experience required, including trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patient care
• Trauma Level One experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Completion of a competency test within 24 hours of consideration, with 2 attempts to pass
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Navy blue scrubs required
• More than 3 call-outs within the 13-week assignment may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks
• RTO must be requested at the time of consideration
• Medical exemptions only accepted for flu vaccination; personal or religious declinations not accepted
• Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of specific counties (Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington) are not eligible
