American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool day shift position requiring 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

• Med/Surg Float Pool within Central Staffing Office/Clinical Support
• Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:00
• 13-week assignment length
• No blocked scheduling allowed

• Active NYS RN license required
• Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• 2 years of recent experience required in Med/Surg specialty
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum 1 supervisor or manager reference within the past year (charge nurse references not accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required (Canadian SIN not accepted)
• Medical exemption required for flu declination (personal or religious declinations not accepted)
• MS applicants with less than 2 years experience must pass MS competency testing within 2 attempts

• Float within Med/Surg units as part of the Float Pool team
• Candidates residing within Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible for this position
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period will result in contract termination
• Make-up shifts required within 6 weeks of a call-out
• RTO must be requested at time of submission
