Status:
Part Time, Food Services – Front of House Associate

• Prepare and serve menu items according to recipe and portion guidelines.
• Maintain a work pace that minimizes customer wait times.
• Ensure all products are in sellable condition and meet quality standards; dispose of unsellable items.
• Keep FoH and deli cases (bakery, full serve, self‑serve) stocked and merchandised according to department standards.
• Fulfill all shift duties as assigned.
• Maintain FoH, deli, and food storage areas in a sanitary, orderly condition in compliance with Health Department standards.
• Staff FoH Counter, Juice & Barista Counter, Sandwich & Pizza Counter as assigned.
• Participate in quarterly inventory.
• Maintain current and accurate knowledge of products and ingredients.

• Ability to safely and consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as the department manual.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, balance friendliness with efficiency, and maintain focus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co‑workers.
• Ability to work shifts with frequent standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
• Food Safety Certification is a plus.

• Previous customer service experience.
• Previous food service experience.
• Experience or interest in natural foods and cooperatives.
