Field Marketer (Tradeshow Marketer)
Overview
Great Day Improvements Patio Enclosures is looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing individual to join our team as a Field Marketer. In this role, you will showcase Patio Enclosures product lines and act as a brand ambassador to potential clients at trade shows, fairs, festivals, community events, and door‑to‑door opportunities.
Base pay: $18.00 per hour. Hourly base pay of $18.00 per hour plus commission. Compensation increases based on performance.

- Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Smart phone for timekeeping and appointment setting
- Represent Patio Enclosures or other Great Day brands at local events (trade shows, fairs, festivals, conferences)
- Engage in face‑to‑face conversations with prospective customers to promote brand products and services
- Transport and set up/tear down exhibit displays and materials per guidelines
- Schedule free inspections and estimates with potential customers following lead scheduling and submission best practices
- Generate leads through enthusiastic and informative communication
- Work independently or as part of a team to represent assigned brand with passion and professionalism
- Adapt to various event environments and engage with a wide range of customer personalities
- Travel to event locations and participate in door‑to‑door marketing as needed
- Manage flexible work hours, including daytime, evenings, and weekends
- Timely submission of all timecards and paperwork
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage customers energetically and meaningfully
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for connecting with people and sharing product knowledge
- Ability to inform, persuade, and generate leads while promoting brand value
- Resilient in handling rejection while maintaining a positive, engaging demeanor
- Team‑oriented yet able to work independently, taking initiative at events
- Adaptability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- 1–3 years of experience in sales or marketing preferred but not required
- Previous experience in tradeshow marketing or customer‑facing roles is advantageous
- Experience in inside or outside sales helpful but not mandatory
