Field Marketer (Tradeshow Marketer)

Overview
Great Day Improvements Patio Enclosures is looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing individual to join our team as a Field Marketer. In this role, you will showcase Patio Enclosures product lines and act as a brand ambassador to potential clients at trade shows, fairs, festivals, community events, and door‑to‑door opportunities.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay: $18.00 per hour. Hourly base pay of $18.00 per hour plus commission. Compensation increases based on performance.

Job Requirements
  • Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
  • Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Smart phone for timekeeping and appointment setting
Responsibilities
  • Represent Patio Enclosures or other Great Day brands at local events (trade shows, fairs, festivals, conferences)
  • Engage in face‑to‑face conversations with prospective customers to promote brand products and services
  • Transport and set up/tear down exhibit displays and materials per guidelines
  • Schedule free inspections and estimates with potential customers following lead scheduling and submission best practices
  • Generate leads through enthusiastic and informative communication
  • Work independently or as part of a team to represent assigned brand with passion and professionalism
  • Adapt to various event environments and engage with a wide range of customer personalities
  • Travel to event locations and participate in door‑to‑door marketing as needed
  • Manage flexible work hours, including daytime, evenings, and weekends
  • Timely submission of all timecards and paperwork
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage customers energetically and meaningfully
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for connecting with people and sharing product knowledge
  • Ability to inform, persuade, and generate leads while promoting brand value
  • Resilient in handling rejection while maintaining a positive, engaging demeanor
  • Team‑oriented yet able to work independently, taking initiative at events
  • Adaptability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
Experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales or marketing preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in tradeshow marketing or customer‑facing roles is advantageous
  • Experience in inside or outside sales helpful but not mandatory
