Contractors Sales Company has been keeping New York's biggest projects moving for over 100 years - from the Thruway to the Albany Airport Connector. We're a well-established, family-oriented heavy equipment dealership seeking a Lead Diesel Technician who knows how to get the job done right.

If you take pride in turning wrenches, working with a crew, and keeping customer and Company owned equipment running smoothly, this role is for you.

• Diagnose and repair Company & Customer construction equipment, including excavators, wheel loaders, drill rigs, and crushing plant
• Support a team of shop technicians as needed
• Support customer and Company repair needs with the Service Manager
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate with the Service team
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, electrical, and other construction equipment related components
• Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to high standards

• 8+ years in heavy equipment or diesel repair
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Must have own tools
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Proficiency with laptop diagnostics and service software
• Valid driver's license
  
  Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Field or road service experience is a plus

Excavators, wheel loaders, drills, crushing and screening plants, articulating trucks, hydraulic breakers, and road wideners - including brands like Link-Belt, Hitachi, Rammer, Rokbak, Sandvik, and Anaconda.
