Journeyman Painter

Cedar Park Group is seeking a Journeyman Painter with experience in laboratory, medical, industrial, or R&D environments
. This role focuses on high-quality surface prep and coatings (including epoxy paint
) in a secure facility with strict safety and PPE requirements.

Schedule/Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM (7.5 hours/day)
Type: Full-time, 2-year contract

• Prepare surfaces for painting using power cleaning and pressure spray equipment
• Apply coatings with a strong focus on epoxy paint applications and finish quality
• Work safely at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and boom lifts
• Follow all site safety procedures, including PPE and respiratory protection standards
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow facility/security protocols
• Travel to additional sites when needed (parking is available at other sites;
  no parking at Biggs
  )

• Journeyman Painter status with 3+ years of painting experience in a laboratory, medical, industrial, or R&D setting
• Hands‑on experience with epoxy paint/coatings
• Ability to work from heights; experience operating ladders, scaffolding, and boom lifts
• Experience using power cleaning/pressure spray equipment for surface prep
• Strong PPE experience;
  must be respirator fit‑tested
• Experience working in a secure facility
• Valid driver’s license
