Location: City of Albany

We are seeking an experienced TIBCO Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data and analytics solutions within the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in TIBCO Spotfire/TERR
, predictive analytics, ETL pipeline development, Oracle PL/SQL, and Workers’ Compensation systems, with proven experience supporting large‑scale data platforms in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain data models, data marts, and data warehouses for underwriting and claims systems
  • Develop and support predictive analytics systems using R or Python with TIBCO Spotfire/TERR
  • Develop and maintain Spotfire dashboards and analytics using Spotfire Analyst, Web Player, and Business Author
  • Build, document, and support end‑to‑end ETL pipelines using IBI Data Migrator (TIBCO Data Migrator)
  • Develop and optimise Oracle PL/SQL components, including triggers, stored procedures, and packages
  • Support system testing, deployment, and release processes using automated tools
  • Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high‑quality solutions
  • Develop and maintain systems supporting Workers’ Compensation insurance programmes
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in data modelling for underwriting and claims data marts and data warehouses within the insurance industry (Workers’ Compensation and Disability)
  • 6+ years of experience developing and maintaining predictive systems using R or Python with TIBCO Spotfire/TERR
  • 6+ years of experience working with TIBCO Spotfire Analyst, Web Player, and Business Author
    , including Iron Python, R, and Java scripting
  • 6+ years of experience developing, documenting, and maintaining ETL pipelines using IBI / TIBCO Data Migrator
  • 6+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development, including advanced query optimisation and database design
  • 6+ years of experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • 6+ years of experience with automated testing, build, and deployment tools such as TFS, Power Shell, and Visual Build Pro
  • 6+ years of experience using development tools including VS Code, Visual Studio, Git, Azure, and TFS
  • 6+ years of experience developing systems for Workers’ Compensation insurance
    , including WC, DBL, PFL, PBM accounting, and financial reporting (Western and Eastern methods)

Duration: 30 Months

Pay Rate: $61.00 per hour

Compensation: $61.00 per hour
