Position: Systems Developer (C#, ASP.NET, HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap)
Location: City of Albany

HBITS-07-14441 OMH Systems Developer Expert, 30 month contract, Virtual interview. Selected candidates are expected to work in the NY office 2‑3 days per week.

Day‑to‑day tasks
  • Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Design and deploy complex reports, diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports utilizing the Data Warehouse and other data sources as needed.
  • Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 or higher and write code using .NET Core framework, ASP.NET, C#, MVC, JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, XML.
  • Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc.; code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary.
  • Use a source code repository (Git Lab) for checking source code in and out, and branching off new versions of the source code.
  • Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor.
  • Interact with business analyst and technical team to translate requirements into technical models.
  • Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications, and system architecture configurations.
    • 84+ months:
      Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
    • 84 Months experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop/maintain applications in C#, ASP.NET for n-tier web deployment.
    • 84 months experience developing and maintaining web applications that utilize HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets.
    • 84 months experience with Oracle:
      Database design, PL SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc.,
    • 84 Months experience interpreting and analyzing business requirements and building the logic within an application’s code to meet those requirements.
    • 72 months experience developing applications with MVC 5 or later versions.
    • 72 Months Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application integration including development of secure .NET web‑services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), REST Services (Web API), message processing and Enterprise Service Bus.
    • 24 Months experience coding and maintaining applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).
    • 24 Months experience with GIT including CI/CD for source code management.
