Job Overview

Design, develop and implement solutions for multiple applications and projects for the Office of Mental Health using C#, .Net, MVC, PL/SQL, Crystal Reports and various other programming tools.

Responsibilities
  • Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Design and deploy complex reports; diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports, utilizing the Data warehouse and other data sources as needed.
  • Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 or higher to write code using .NET Core framework, ASP.NET, C#, MVC, JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, XML.
  • Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary.
  • Use a source code repository (Gitlab/TFS) for checking source code in & out, and branching off new versions of the source code.
  • Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor.
  • Interact with business analyst and technical team to translate requirements into technical models.
  • Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations.

  • 84 months experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop/maintain applications in C#, ASP.NET for n-tier web deployment.
  • 84 months experience developing and maintaining web applications that utilize HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets.
  • 84 months experience with Oracle:
    Database design, PL SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc.
  • 84 months experience interpreting and analyzing business requirements and building the logic within an application’s code to meet those requirements.
  • 72 months experience developing applications with MVC 5 or later versions.
  • 72 months experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application integration including development of secure .Net web-services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), REST Services (Web API), message processing and Enterprise Service Bus.
  • 48 months experience developing reports with Crystal Reports version 10 or above and invoking them from .NET applications.
  • 36 months experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Git Lab including CI/CD for source code management.
  • 24 months experience coding and maintaining applications that contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).
