Software Developer; SQL, PL​/SQL, Oracle , UNIX, NT

HBITS-07-14344Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform application design development, testing, debugging, and tuning tasks for Oracle Forms and Reports 12C applications.

• Perform debugging and development tasks in SQL, PL/SQL skills, and Oracle Forms and Reports programming capabilities.

• Develop operational update and testing scripts in Oracle 12C and 19C.

• Work with key program area stakeholders to understand the business requirements for new/redesigned systems.

• Collaborate with the IT and program area leads to translate program area requirements into technology requirements and recommend viable technical options.

• Perform code reviews and suggest changes that will best fit the Program and Agency needs.

• On-call support of production applications is required

Software Developer Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.

  Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 84 months experience developing Oracle Forms and Reports v12C Applications
• 84 months experience developing scripts and testing for an Oracle 19C/12C environment
• 84 months experience developing in PL/SQL and SQL
  * Plus and SQL writing stored procedures, functions, packages and triggers.
• 60 months experience with Performance Tuning of SQL Queries
• 60 months experience programming applications for use with UNIX, NT and PC environments
• 24 months experience creating UNIX shell scripts
