Cedar Park Group is hiring a Salesforce Automation Engineer in Albany, NY.
Schedule/Shift: Full-time, 8 hours/day (9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 8:30 AM–4:30 PM)
Duration: Anticipated 12 months
Work Model: Hybrid (Albany, NY)
As a Salesforce Automation Engineer, you'll help deliver Salesforce solutions that support program capabilities like case management, eligibility workflows, and citizen engagement. Working under the guidance of a Solution Architect, you'll turn architecture blueprints into functional, high-performing, and secure Salesforce applications that meet end-user and program needs.
Responsibilities- Build and implement Salesforce automation solutions to support complex business and case management processes
- Configure and customize Salesforce using declarative tools such as Flows, Omni Studio, and Validation Rules
- Develop with Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) as needed to extend functionality
- Translate solution designs into scalable, maintainable, and secure implementations
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and cross-functional stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver working features
- Support solution quality through testing, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and documentation
- Follow best practices for deployment, governance, security, and lifecycle management within a Salesforce CoE environment
- 7+ years working on complex projects, with 2+ years in a leadership role as an Automation Engineer
- 7+ years of Salesforce development experience across Salesforce products (e.g.,
Service Cloud, Data Cloud, CRM/Case Management ) - 3+ years configuring/customizing Salesforce using Flows, Omni Studio, Validation Rules , plus Apex/LWC where needed to automate business processes and case management
- 6+ months integrating Salesforce with other business applications using REST/SOAP APIs, Named Credentials , and middleware (e.g.,
Mule Soft and other integration platforms) - 1+ year of experience with Salesforce data model and security model
- 6+ months configuring Salesforce Public Sector Solutions
- 6+ months configuring public sector case management
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer credential
