Application Architect; Java, OpenText Exstream Cloud Native, Cobol, DB

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for an Application Architect in Albany, NY.

Application architect and developer using Java, Open Text Exstream Cloud Native, Cobol and DB2 to assemble data and create correspondence for mailing.

• Production support of existing applications
• Analysis, design, coding, and unit/integration testing
• Create and update program specification and detail design documentation
• Application performance tuning
• Mentor junior programmers
• Application development for modernization effort.

• Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 72 months of experience with Java programming in an IBM environment development using an eclipse-based IDE
• 84 months of experience developing tax processing systems in a federal, state or municipal agency
• 84 months installing, configuring, patching, testing Open Text Exstream software and architecting the design of complex business applications
• 84 months of IBM Mainframe COBOL programming experience
• 84 months of IBM DB2 for z/OS experience.
