We are seeking aSr. Front UI Developer who will support our NYS client. This Developer Level III will design and implement responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web interfaces for the Integrated Eligibility System (IES) program. The role focuses on modern single-page applications, consistent UI/UX implementation, and reliable frontend performance.
Duties:- Architect and build responsive single-page applications using Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Translate UI/UX designs into clean, semantic HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript/Type Script.
- Optimize frontend applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Implement WCAG 2.1 AA web accessibility standards across user interfaces.
- Support shared services frontend development and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- More than 7 years of experience working on complex projects, including 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Developer (Level III).
- 5 years of experience building responsive single-page applications (SPAs) using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- 3 years of experience implementing web accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 AA or Section 508 compliance.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with Type Script, HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS).
- 5 years of experience with state management libraries such as Redux, NgRx, or Vuex.
- 5 years of experience writing frontend unit and integration tests using Jest, Cypress, or Jasmine.
- 3 years of experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD and translating mockups into code.
