We are hiring a reliable CDL-A regional driver for dedicated-style dry van freight across the Northeast.
This position averages approximately three loads and eight to nine stops per week. Shipper trailers are preloaded, but drivers are responsible for hand unloading every delivery at the consignee using gravity-fed roller sections.
Pay and earnings$1.04 per mile.
Approximately 1,500 average weekly miles.
Approximately 7,000 cartons per week on average.
Average gross weekly pay of $1,800 - $2,000 based on approximately three loads per week.
Average three loads per week.
Average eight to nine stops per week.
Actual pay may vary based on miles, cartons, loads, stops.
Routes and home timeRegional operation based out of Rome, NY.
Primary states include: CT, MA, ME, NY, PA, NH, NJ, RI, VT.
Average length of haul: approximately 500 miles.
Typically Monday Friday.
Drivers are generally out two days.
Freight and unloadingShipper trailers are preloaded.
Driver unload is required at 100% of deliveries.
Hand unload using gravity-fed roller sections.
This is not a no-touch position. Applicants should be comfortable with repeated hand unloading at store locations.
RequirementsAbility to safely operate a sleeper tractor and dry van.
Ability to hand unload every delivery using gravity-fed rollers.
Physical ability to perform repetitive unloading and store deliveries.
