Open Until Filled. This is a part-time Classified pool position within the Community Education division. Employment requires a criminal background check (C4) and residency considerations as applicable.
Responsible for independently leading, coordinating, and overseeing work for the Community Education, Customized Training, and Corporate Training programs. Coordinate communication with instructors, manage the multidimensional evaluation process, and organize and develop classes for the Community Education program. Independently coordinate the operation of the non-credit registration process for Customized and Corporate Training programs. Support faculty in analyzing and addressing the needs of the public, government agencies, community organizations, businesses, and industries.
Responsibilities- Lead planning, organization, and documentation for community education classes in collaboration with coordinators and instructors.
- Coordinate communication marketing and creative projects for community education, including development and distribution of graphics, flyers, and templates for internal staff and instructors.
- Lead roster creation and distribution, track student contact information and liability waivers, and provide registration-related support to instructors.
- Coordinate evaluation processes for instructors and students, including data collection, analysis, storage, and reporting trends to coordinators and the director.
- Coordinate registration data for corporate training and professional development programs, including client communication and data tracking.
- Collaborate with the program assistant and director on enrollment analytics (e.g., fill rates by class/category) and schedule production.
- Assist with market research on new classes and use Banner to enter data and generate reports. Serve as backup to other Program Assistants as needed.
- Provide general receptionist duties and customer service for college programs, queries, and problems; escalate significant issues to the Director.
- Perform other related duties as needed.

Education and Experience
- Associate's Degree or a high school diploma plus a minimum of two years' full-time experience in a related field.
Knowledge and Skills
- Basic knowledge of general office practices, procedures, office technology, and computer use. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite; strong attention to detail and accurate data entry and proofreading.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and manage projects efficiently.
Abilities
- Ability to perform duties efficiently and safely; operate position-related equipment safely; prioritize and coordinate work to meet tight schedules; communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders; work respectfully with people of all cultures, backgrounds, perspectives, and abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer service experience and experience working with diverse populations via phone, email, and in person.
- Knowledge of community education, recreation, corporate training, driver education, special events, or related program development.
- Knowledge of social media and online registration systems.
Physical
Skills and Abilities
- Extended standing at times; light to medium lifting (10–50 pounds); dexterity to operate tools and equipment; good visual acuity.
Working Conditions
- Office setting with significant computer use; some evenings, occasional early/late hours, and some Saturdays; travel between LBCC Benton Center and other locations within Linn and Benton counties. Must provide own transportation.
