Responsibilities
  • Oversee all facility maintenance and operations, ensuring critical systems (HVAC, water, fire alarms, safety) are maintained through both in‑house efforts and vendor partnerships.
  • Lead and mentor facilities personnel, including custodial, laundry, and other team members, to ensure high‑quality service delivery across all locations.
  • Leads and supports day‑to‑day operations in the facilities department, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage and operate a variety of equipment and tools, such as company vehicles, landscaping machinery, and hand tools, ensuring safe and effective use by all team members.
  • Coordinate office and workspace logistics, including meeting and event setup, furniture installation, office rearrangements, repairs, painting, and other tasks as needed to support business operations.
  • Maintain secure and compliant facilities by managing access systems, badges, keys, and security cameras.
  • Support implementation and ongoing management of visitor electronic sign‑in processes, partnering with other departments to uphold food safety and building entry policies.
  • Manage pest control programs and vendor relationships in collaboration with Quality and Food Safety teams.
  • Lead facilities‑related projects, including budget oversight and vendor management, to ensure successful completion and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Qualifications
  • Generally, four (4) years of experience in Facilities Maintenance with an associate’s degree or relevant industry experience.
  • Two (2) years experience leading and managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
  • Experience managing facilities for a corporate headquarters or multi‑site organization preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and hold teams accountable while meeting business objectives.
  • Skilled in problem‑solving and root cause analysis using tools (5 Whys or Fishbone diagrams).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and adapt to a fast‑paced, changing environment.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to turn vision into actionable plans and results.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other programs.
  • Experienced in managing vendors and contractors.
