- Oversee all facility maintenance and operations, ensuring critical systems (HVAC, water, fire alarms, safety) are maintained through in‑house efforts and vendor partnerships.
- Lead and mentor facilities personnel, including custodial, laundry and other team members, to ensure high‑quality service delivery across all locations.
- Lead and support day‑to‑day operations in the facilities department, fostering a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement.
- Manage and operate a variety of equipment and tools, such as company vehicles, landscaping machinery and hand tools, ensuring safe and effective use by all team members.
- Coordinate office and workspace logistics, including meeting and event setup, furniture installation, office rearrangements, repairs and painting as needed to support business operations.
- Maintain secure and compliant facilities by managing access systems, badges, keys and security cameras.
- Support implementation and ongoing management of visitor electronic sign‑in processes, partnering with other departments to uphold food safety and building entry policies.
- Manage pest control programs and vendor relationships in collaboration with Quality and Food Safety teams.
- Lead facilities‑related projects, including budget oversight and vendor management, to ensure successful completion and alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and operational standards.
- Generally four (4) years of experience in facilities maintenance with an associate’s degree or relevant industry experience.
- Two (2) years of experience leading and managing teams.
- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance, equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Experience managing facilities for a corporate headquarters or multi‑site organization preferred.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide and hold teams accountable while meeting business objectives.
- Skilled in problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis using tools such as 5‑Whys or Fishbone diagrams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and adapt to a fast‑paced, changing environment.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to turn vision into actionable plans and results.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other programs.
- Experienced in managing vendors and contractors.
