Responsibilities- Perform daily checks to ensure dies are clean and the temperature and pressure gauges of the wax press machine are correct, wax levels in press machine and melting pots are correct, and no hydraulic leaks are present.
- Retrieve aluminum dies from storage, moving them from cart to workstation; dies weigh 25–250 pounds.
- Consistently produce wax molds that meet engineering specifications for quality while maintaining quantity requirements.
- Recognize defects in wax patterns and determine their causes.
- Push and pull dies in and out of the mold press during operation.
- Prior industry experience with injection molding preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow technique cards.
- Compliance with general company attendance standard required.
- Ability to lift from floor to waist level up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 15 pounds frequently.
- Read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Effective teamwork.
- Maintain concentration and remain on task in a busy environment.
- HS diploma or equivalent GED preferred; relevant experience considered.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Willingness to undergo a pre‑employment background check and drug screen.
- Exposure to fumes from melting wax.
- Working near moving mechanical parts for extended periods.
- Twisting and turning of wrist and forearm for extended periods.
- Use of hands to operate controls of mold presses.
- Requires wearing safety glasses.
- Swing Shift (Monday‑Thursday 3:30 PM‑2:00 AM) 4×10 – $1.00 / hr shift differential
- Weekend Day Shift (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) 3×12 – $1.25 / hr shift differential
- Overtime offered based on business needs.
