Mennonite Village is a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) that has been serving the Mid-Willamette Valley for over 78 years. Our purpose is to be a community where residents live their best lives. Our values are Integrity, Excellence, and Respect.

Mennonite Home is our Skilled Nursing department with 21 skilled nursing beds on each floor, for a total of 42 beds. We provide 24‑hour post‑op, short‑term, and long‑term services and support.

Our on‑call CNAs are an essential part of our care team. The on‑call pool consists of CNAs who share their availability—shifts and days they can work. When an open shift matches your stated availability, we reach out to see if you can fill it.

As a thank‑you for your flexibility and commitment, you will receive $1.50 per hour for each hour you are available. If you are called in, you receive your regular hourly wage plus the $1.50 on‑call premium.

• Additional programs, including eligibility and attendance expectations, are available upon request.

• Day shift (6 am – 2:15 pm) availability on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
• Evening shift (2 pm – 10:15 pm) availability on Wednesday and Friday.
• NOC shift (10 pm – 6:15 am) availability 7 days a week.
• Must be available for at least one of the above shifts to qualify.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Mennonite Home, you will provide essential care services that prioritize the physical and emotional well‑being of our residents. Your day will involve assisting with activities of daily living (ADL), monitoring health statuses, ensuring safety during care procedures, and keeping accurate documentation. You will encourage residents to participate in engaging activities, fostering a lively atmosphere that promotes joy and connection.

Patience, tact, and a willingness to navigate challenging situations are vital, as are strong listening skills and a professional approach to conflict resolution.

• Understanding resident rights and dignity.
• Valid CNA certification in Oregon required in the first 120 days of employment.
• CPR/AED certification required in the first 120 days of employment.
• Experience in long‑term care is preferred.

$21.00 – $24.09 per hour.
