- Oversee daily nursing operations and care delivery for an assigned skilled nursing unit
- Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Monitor resident care to ensure compliance with care plans, physician orders, and best practices
- Complete resident assessments and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
- Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary rounds
- Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally
- Support staff development through coaching, training, mentoring, and performance feedback
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, survey readiness activities, infection prevention, and resident safety programs
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Compassion, patience, and professionalism when serving residents and families
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop nursing staff
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong teamwork and collaborative leadership style
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings
- Positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving

QUALIFICATIONS
- Current, valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oregon
