As a Security Officer - Armed Industrial Patrol in Albany, OR
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security‑related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the facility. This armed post allows you to engage with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and reliability.

Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $27.30 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Day Time Th: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Fri: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Sat: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Sun: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

- Provide outstanding customer service by following security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including emergencies as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to deter potential threats or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter unauthorized access and protect property within the manufacturing and industrial location.
- Report and document any irregularities, security‑related incidents, or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as required during incidents or emergencies.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment for employees and visitors.
- Participate in site‑specific training and maintain all required certifications related to armed patrol duties.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
